Welcome to Tytherington School. We are a successful, ambitious and high-performing school at the heart of the local community, with high standards and excellent teaching. A supervised Quiet Study Space is available before school (after 8am), at lunch time and after school until 4pm every day; there is a supervised Computer Room in the LRC for students to complete homework in a quiet setting.

Admissions Criteria

Students are primarily drawn from Tytherington, Bollington and surrounding areas, with many coming from local primary schools in Macclesfield Town and surrounding areas. Positive links with partner primary schools are maintained, but applications from students not attending partner primary schools are also accepted. Admissions follow the School Admissions Code; in-year admissions are possible; appeals are handled through the Cheshire East LA, with relevant forms and leaflets available.
