Welcome to Elmstead Wood Primary School. It is a two-form entry primary school on the edge of Elmstead Wood in Bromley. The original school opened in 1937, with a rebuild in 1995 and expansion in 2018. The school promotes learning outside the classroom with a wild area and allotment, joined the Spring Trust in 2016, and aims to be an innovative school focused on academic achievement, strong community links, and ensuring all children are valued.
Nursery wrap around care is available from 07:45 to 08:40 and from 15:30 to 18:00, at an additional cost. An extended day option is available in Nursery from 08:30 to 09:00 and 15:00 to 15:30, at an additional cost.
Elmstead Wood Primary School has a SEND provision with a named SENCO (Ms Samantha Carnegie). The school aims to support pupils with SEND through differentiated teaching, effective assessment and provision, and through partnership with parents/carers, the Local Education Authority and relevant outside agencies.
