Ethos & Values

"The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows."

Ambition Aspiration Courage Respect

Religious Education plays a central role; RE is taught as a distinct academic subject and aims to develop religious literacy, promote religious understanding and respect, and challenge prejudice. It provides a balance of theology, philosophy and human/social sciences, with substantive, ways of knowing and personal knowledge. Topics include Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Sikhism and Islam across different year groups, and collective worship is incorporated in a broadly Christian context with inclusivity for other faiths.

Head Teacher's Message

A warm welcome from Principal Miss S Durbin; KHPA is a unique school with a 'no limits' aspiration for all and a knowledge-rich curriculum.
