Admissions Criteria

Oversubscription criteria: Looked after children and those who were previously looked after but immediately after being looked after was adopted or became subject to a child arrangements order or special guardianship order. Looked After Children are those in the care of a local authority or provided with accommodation by a local authority; previously looked after children are those who were previously looked after but were adopted or became subject to a child arrangements order or special guardianship order. Additional criteria include: children in the relevant age group living within the catchment area, children with a sibling currently attending the Academy, and children living outside the catchment but attending a primary school within the catchment. When two applicants have the same priority, the child who lives closest to the Academy has higher priority.
