Welcome to Shaw Ridge Primary School! The Head Teacher, Mrs Sally Cowell, describes Shaw Ridge as a friendly, inclusive 2-form entry school with a 24-place nursery, strong teaching facilities, and extensive outdoor spaces that support outdoor learning, as well as a broad, balanced curriculum.
Breakfast club is available from 7.45am – 8.30am. After School club runs from 3.15pm – 6pm. Bookings and payments are made directly with The Big A Club (thebigaclub.co.uk).
Mental health and wellbeing are supported by nurture provision, Family SEAL, and Young Carers. Miss Gillian Ramsay is the Family Support Worker who works with the SENCo and nurture team to support children and families. The school provides resources to families and can sign-post to external organisations as required.
