Head Teacher's Message

Head Jayne Lusinski welcomes families to Lordswood, describing the school as a community-centered, values-driven environment that aims to nurture the whole child and foster a love of learning. The motto ‘Learning without Limits’ guides a curriculum rooted in Respect, Honesty and Perseverance, with pupil voice and partnership with parents and the local community at its core.

SEND Provision

The SEND provision includes a dedicated SENDCo, half-termly Pupil Progress Meetings, targeted interventions and liaison with external agencies (e.g. Educational Psychologists, CAMHS) when needed; there is careful transition planning with nurseries and secondary schools, and Educational Health and Care Plan processes may be pursued at the discretion of the SENDCo.

Lordswood School is a 4-11 years school with inclusive provision, including a Nursery, and participates in the Local Authority co-ordinated admissions scheme. There is no guarantee of a place for any child meeting the oversubscription criteria.
