Ethos & Values

"Love One Another, As I Have Loved You"

St Wilfrid's Catholic Academy is a Catholic school in which Jesus Christ is central to school life. The school promotes Gospel values derived from Catholic teachings, works closely with Sacred Heart Church Parish and the Newman Catholic Collegiate, and provides religious education within a Catholic Christian setting. The Ethos of the School emphasises a Catholic community where Masses, liturgies and sacraments are part of school life, and students are encouraged to develop respect for other faiths while engaging in charitable works and social justice. The school aims to prepare children for life in a multicultural society while keeping Christ at the centre of all we do.
