Curriculum Highlights

Curriculum covers 32 hours and 30 minutes per week. Reading, writing and maths are taught at the same time across Years 1-6 with streaming where required; Years 5 and 6 stream for reading and maths; maths is taught in classes to support mastery. Wider curriculum subjects are allocated by teachers with autonomy to place subjects into the timetable; subject leaders review allocations to ensure quality coverage and deep learning.
