Thank you for visiting Alexandra Junior School's website. The school offers a stimulating and rewarding experience enriched by a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, an enthusiastic and committed staff, and a strong partnership with parents. Governors are active and work closely with Alexandra Infant School to ensure smooth transitions from Year 2 to Year 3.

Alexandra Adventurers after-school club operates in The Lodge, school hall and the school playground (weather permitting). After school, children will be registered by a member of club staff after being dismissed by their teacher from class. Tea will be served at approximately 3.45pm. The school’s caterer, Harrison, provides the food. A current menu for the after school club can be found via the link on the page, and a breakfast club menu will be available shortly. Breakfast Club is run at Alexandra Infant School with breakfast served from 7.30am – 8.30am (8.30am AJS children are walked to AJS by two staff, arriving by 8.45am). Invoices are issued at the end of each school half term. Payment methods include bank transfer or childcare vouchers; cheques or cash are not accepted. They are registered with HMRC tax-free childcare and accept several voucher providers. Places are limited with priority given to siblings, then those on the waiting list, then current Alexandra Adventurers attendees who require additional days. Registration and booking forms are required per child.
