SEND provision includes high-quality teaching and personalised support. Most SEND needs are met within the classroom through Quality First Teaching. The SENCo leads the SEND provision, with additional 1:1 or small group support, involvement of external agencies when required, and access arrangements for exams. A graduated Assess-Plan-Do-Review approach is used, and a range of interventions and supports are available (e.g., counselling, SALT referrals, ICT provisions, etc.).
Westfield Academy is non-selective. No entrance prerequisites are set. Admissions are processed via Hertfordshire County Council guidelines. The school is oversubscribed (PAN 240; intake extended to 270).
