As a Church of England School, Christian, British and Human values are very important. There is a close relationship with Rev. Stephen Liley from Clapham Church and the Diocese of St Albans. The school promotes Values Education and has a programme linking Christian, British and Human values, including British Values of democracy, the rule of law, liberty, respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.
Clubs
Wraparound care (Active Kids) is run by the school. Breakfast Club runs 7:30am–8:45am with a £4.50 per child charge. After School Club runs from 3:30pm–6:00pm with short (3:30–4:30) £4, medium (3:30–5:30) £8, and long (3:30–6:00) £10 sessions. Late collection fee £7.00. All wraparound bookings/payments are via the Scopay online system. Emergency/last-minute bookings can be made by ringing the school office. There are policies published in the Parent Info section, and vouchers are accepted via employer schemes upon request.
Phoenix Club - Nurture Provision: a nurture programme where children are nominated to attend; includes six weeks of sessions led by staff (Mr Beacon, Mrs Moxon, Mrs Morrall, Mrs Lee). Also includes 'Build It' Club and 'Well-Being Club'. Additional nurture provisions include Brick Club (Lego Therapy), Rupert the Therapy Dog, Zones of Regulation, Time to Talk, and English Additional Language support. Referrals are via Class Teacher and Phoenix Club flow/form. Team leads work with parents to tailor sessions to each child.
