Worship is an integral part of school life at St. Gerard’s and is central to the Catholic tradition. Collective Worship timetable outlines weekly activities; we attend mass every Tuesday and often lead parts of the liturgy and liturgical music; celebrations align with church liturgical year. We are connected to our parish of St. Gerard's, attend Family Mass on designated Sundays, and the Parish Priest is Mgr. Desmond Sexton. Our parish community is integral to the school. We use the Come and See programme for Religious Education. In our most recent Section 48 RE Inspection (April 2024), the school was graded Outstanding in overall effectiveness, Catholic life and Mission, Religious Education, and Collective Worship.
Headteacher welcomes families, notes that the school joined the Saint Francis Catholic Multi-Academy Trust on 1 November 2023, and emphasizes that Jesus is at the centre of school life. It invites parents and visitors to learn about the school and visit.
