Welcome message from the Head of School emphasizes a real love for learning, a warm and inclusive community, high expectations, a strong and enriching curriculum, and evidence of strong attainment (KS2 SATS and phonics scores above national averages) with staff dedicated to helping each child reach their potential.

Long-term Maths curriculum aligned with Development Matters, National Curriculum and White Rose Maths; blocks with small steps; emphasis on fluency, recall of number facts, and use of times tables; home learning and parental support guidance. Science curriculum spanning National Curriculum and Early Years Framework; thinking squares to assess misconceptions; learning progressed through unit-based pedagogy; thinking squares revisited to apply learning; links to museum and BBC Bitesize resources for home support. Metacognition via 'Learning Muscles' and deliberate practice; emphasis on reflective learning, growth mindset, and progression through a scaffolded learning routine.
