This ethos is our expression of Christian roots; schools are fully inclusive and welcome and respect students and staff of all faiths and none.
Our focus at Wye School is on creating a climate for outstanding teaching and learning, underpinned by the Rosenshine Principles of Instruction and Teach Like a Champion techniques, to ensure high expectations and effective learning for every student.
Special Educational Needs or Disability: The school provides SEN support in class with a SENCO and Student Support Assistants; works with Kent County Council SEN to deliver EHCPs; there is no SEN or Nurture Unit separate from mainstream lessons.
Wye School is oversubscribed with 120 places per year; admissions are open to students of all abilities; there is no selection by ability or faith. Kent County Council coordinates admissions for Year 7. Offers for September 2026 will be issued on 2 March 2026. Waiting lists and in-year admissions are managed by the school and KCC.
