SEND Provision

Full-time Learning Coach provides in-class support; differentiated lessons; digital tools; small group sessions; in-class assistance; access to specialists; Learning Coach liaises with parents and other professionals to determine needs and provision.

Admissions Criteria

Halcyon must be approached holistically; entrance tests are not typically required. Admissions consider academic records, references, intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, engagement in extra- and co-curricular activities, and sufficient English to access learning. Full disclosure of prior educational records is required. Stage 1 application, followed by questionnaire and submission of reports and references; informal interview if criteria are met. Where SEN or special circumstances exist, the school assesses capacity to meet needs with reasonable adjustments.

Financial Information

Bursaries: Available

Fees include a morning snack and daily vegetarian lunch for all students, annual residential trip, books and materials for art and science, examination fees, and access to Pamoja online courses and a range of extracurricular clubs. VAT at 20% is applied. Fees are non-refundable and not prorated. There are no additional fees for examinations or Pamoja online courses. 2025/26 fee amounts are listed on the Fees page; there has been no increase from 2024/25.
