Welcome to Meynell Community Primary School. Meynell is a happy, positive school educating children aged 2–11. It emphasises partnership with parents and carers and promotes the ethos Aspire, Believe, Explore, Achieve. Admissions Criteria

Meynell Primary School follows Sheffield Local Authority policy for admissions; applications for a place at Meynell should be directed to Primary Admissions for Sheffield. The Sheffield Council website provides information on the application process (reception and the Parent Guide for Entry to Primary). In reception admissions, closing date for applications is 15 January each year. In oversubscribed years, Sheffield Local Authority primary school admission criteria apply. If a child has an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan naming the school, they will be admitted in accordance with the School Admissions Code. In-year transfers follow the LA guidance.
