Canon Pyon CE Academy offers a warm welcome with a small, friendly, caring environment; emphasises a creative, inspiring curriculum and strong community links. The headteacher is Mrs Kelly Carpenter.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Breakfast club runs from 7:45am to 8:30am with a small charge. The cost of breakfast club is £4.25 daily. After school club runs from 3:15pm – 5:00pm during the term. There are two sessions: 3:15-4:30pm at £5 and 4:30-5:00pm at £2. Booking/information available via Arbor; contact the school office for assistance.

SEND Provision

The school is committed to safeguarding the welfare of pupils with SEND. SENCo is Miss Emily Pritchard-Smith. The school provides pastoral and family support and works with Herefordshire SEND Local Offer.

Admissions Criteria

Our current admission limit is 15 per year group. The governors review the admissions policy annually.
