Executive Principal Louise Brammer welcomes families to Maple Court Academy, emphasising opportunities for all children, a safe and stimulating environment, and the MAPLE values guiding learning and development.
Maple Court Academy provides for all SEND needs as outlined in the Code of Practice (2014). Pupils identified as having special educational needs receive a Pupil Learning Plan (reviewed at least three times per year); some pupils may receive 1:1 support; pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans receive additional support as outlined in their plan; SLT and SENCo monitor provision regularly and governors report on SEN provision each year.
Current admission limit is 60 pupils per year band. The Academy follows Stoke-on-Trent City Council determined admission arrangements and uses an oversubscription policy; admissions policy PDFs are available online.
