Clubs
Phoenix Infant Academy provides SEND provision through mainstream class access with targeted support via The Nest Resource Base for pupils with Autism and/or complex needs (The Nest has 9 spaces). Interventions available include Speech and Language groups, 1:1 Speech and Language, Talk Box (EYFS), Bucket Time, Phonics, Daily reader, Lightening Squad, Maths, ELSA, Lego Club, SEBDOS, Sensory circuits, Occupational Therapy exercises, and allocated sensory room time. The Nest curriculum is delivered mornings (targeted interventions) and afternoons within mainstream class. Interventions are reviewed half-termly by the SENDCo and SAL Assistant.
