Welcome from the Principal. Mrs R A Waugh explains the college’s mission to value and respect every person as a child of God, with the motto ‘Know Yourself’, aiming for academic excellence within a Catholic faith context and enrichment opportunities, and inviting parental support; cites Pope Francis that educating is an act of love.

SEND Provision

The Learning Support Department works with all members of school staff to promote SEND development. It has one specialist room with computers and a range of teaching resources. Other support includes reduced and personalised curriculum, visual timetables, a lunchtime safe room with full computer access, a nurture group and after-school support for invited students. Early transition days are offered to some SEND students. The SENCo attends transition reviews and all feeder and non-feeder primary school students attend transition days.

Admissions Criteria

The Painsley Catholic College Pupil Admission Number (PAN) will remain at 220 for the 2026/27 academic year.
