St. Thomas Becket Catholic Primary School maintains a strong Catholic ethos with Catholic education at its core; there are close links with the parish Our Lady of the Annunciation, Addiscombe, and parish priests participate in classroom visits. Sacramental programmes of The Eucharist and Reconciliation are supported by the school, and RE is taught through the Diocesan programme Come and See. The school also supports the Life to the Full RHE programme and aims to be an inclusive community that welcomes pupils from Catholic and non-Catholic backgrounds alike.
The headteacher welcomes families and emphasises an inclusive, high-achieving Catholic school culture with strong partnerships between home, school and parish, aiming to bring learning to life and foster success for all pupils.
Applicants who are practising Catholic should request a certificate of Catholic Practice from their parish priest. Your priest should have a supply of forms or alternatively you can download a copy below. If your child is not a practicing Catholic but fulfils any other eligibility criteria from the admissions policy (e.g: a child of another faith), you will only need to submit the administration form to the school (along with any relevant evidence) in addition to the online eAdmissions form.
