Ethos & Values

"Where we all shine"

Show Respect Be Kind Try Our Best

St Augustine's Academy is described as a growing Church of England Academy. The site states it follows a Christian ethos with values embedded in school life, including the Christian values and behaviour guide 'The St Augustine's Way' and the 'Roots and Fruits' collective worship resource used in Year 1–6, as well as the 'Jack in the Box' resource in Early Years. Collective worship can take place in person or remotely (via Zoom) and includes prayers and Bible verses; Wild Worship involves outdoor worship in nature.

Head Teacher's Message

A warm welcome from Headteacher Mrs Amanda Howes, noting the school's Christian/British values and commitment to safety, well-being and high standards, with an emphasis on pupils shining and the community working together as part of 'The St Augustine's Way'.
