Trinity School follows the Newbury Academy Trust admissions framework. Oversubscription criteria are described as: currently, priority is given to (1) Children in care and all children previously in care; (2) Children whose permanent address is in the school’s designated catchment area (with nearer siblings given priority); (3) Siblings of students who are currently on roll at Trinity; (4) Children who attend Newbury Academy Trust primary schools (Fir Tree Primary School and Nursery and Speenhamland School); (5) Children of staff at the school; (6) All other applicants. The NAT proposes changing the order to: (1) Children in care and all children previously in care; (2) Siblings of students who are currently on roll at the school; (3) Children who attend NAT primary schools; (4) Children of a member of staff employed by NAT (two or more years) or recruited to fill a vacancy with a demonstrable skill shortage; (5) Children whose permanent address is in the catchment area (with nearer siblings priority); (6) All other applicants.
