Ethos & Values

"Learning Today, Beyond Tomorrow"

Head Teacher's Message

The Headteacher, Mrs Jenny Tomkins, describes a period of growth and transformation within The Robert Napier School and the Beyond Schools Trust, with a focus on securing an outstanding future, nurturing the whole child, strong pastoral care, high expectations, and collaborative work with staff, students and the community.

Admissions Criteria

Robert Napier is a comprehensive secondary school with over 1000 students aged 11–18; approximately 180 students are admitted to Year 7 each September. Late entry to Years 7–11 is determined by school assessment; Sixth Form admissions are determined on GCSE results. Casual admissions require baseline assessments and copies of current school work may be requested to evidence ability. Parents have the right to appeal if a place is not offered. Applications for a year group outside chronological age will be considered. In-year admissions are managed via Medway Council.
