Ethos & Values

Confidence, self-esteem and strong moral values are keys to successful futures; that all children can make a difference in the world they live. At Harris Primary Academy Coleraine Park we develop a 'can-do' attitude; empowering every member of the school family to embrace challenge, take risks and aspire to achieve to their full potential. Learning is at the heart of all we do; high expectations achieve high outcomes and we aim to raise standards by ensuring children finish Year 6 with the required academic and social skills.

The academy is described as a multi-cultural, multi-faith family where children learn together and respect and value each other.

Head Teacher's Message

Welcome from Head of Academy Hannah Wakelin. The academy opened in 2012 as part of the Harris Federation; all Harris academies have been rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted; HPACP aims to provide exceptional education with high expectations and opportunities for every child.
