Admissions Criteria

Shirestone Academy will comply with all relevant provisions of the Department for Education’s School Admissions Code 2014 and the School Admission Appeals Code 2012. All academies in The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust participate in the co-ordinated admission arrangements administered by the local authority. Applications for admission should be made to the local authority; admission appeals should be made to the local authority. For in-year places please contact the school admissions manager Mrs April Jones on 0121 675 4686. Appeals should be made to Birmingham City Council on 0121 303 1888. The Academy has nursery admissions; parents wishing to apply should apply directly to the school.
