Eastfield Academy identifies pupils with SEN through multiple channels (including liaison with previous settings, parental concerns, and assessments). Progress is reviewed termly at Pupil Progress meetings; provision maps are created for all learners and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are used for a small number of pupils with more complex needs. The SEN Co‑ordinator (Senco) oversees provision, with involvement from external agencies (e.g., Speech and Language Therapy, Educational Psychology). A Family and Pastoral Officer supports wellbeing, and pupil views are gathered through tools like pupil passports and one-page profiles. Regular staff training and a whole-school approach to behaviour and safeguarding are noted.
