Tring School is a Church of England school in the diocese of St Albans, and is attached to the church of St Peter and St Paul. The Chaplaincy is funded and provided for by St Peter and St Paul. The school attends services at St Peter and St Paul at Christmas and Easter, and clergy lead collective worship in school. The vision and Christian values underpin all that the school does, including worship, with the Bible-based vision from 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 guiding the ethos.

Headteacher Mrs Sally Ambrose describes Tring School as a place where the vision and Christian values maximise each student’s potential, emphasising partnership with families, high expectations, and the motto ‘Live to Learn and Learn to Live’.
