SEND Provision

SENDCo is Mrs Shearn. All teachers are teachers of pupils with SEND. SEN Support uses the ‘Assess, Plan, Do, Review’ cycle. Each child has a SEND support plan which is reviewed termly. EHCPs (Education and Health Care Plans) are reviewed annually. Main areas of need are: Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, and Sensory and/or Physical. Related policies and information include the Special Educational Needs Policy, Supporting pupils with Medical Needs Policy, Children with Health Needs who cannot attend School Policy, Calderdale Local Offer, SENDIASS, Open Minds (CAHMs).
