A welcome message from the headteacher introducing Wapping High School as a place with a new vision of future learning and a focus on maximising student achievement.
Admissions are coordinated centrally by the local authority and Wapping High School is part of the Borough Admission System. The school opened to increase provision for the South Wapping Priority Zone and prioritises the community it was set up to serve; spaces may be available for families outside the Priority Zone. All children who have a statement of Special Educational Needs where Wapping High School is named on the statement will be admitted, subject to consultation with the local authority. All applications should be made through the local borough using their application form. For the full policy click here or contact the school directly. In-Year admissions are available in limited numbers for Year 7, 8 and 9; to apply for September please contact the school as well as the Tower Hamlets admissions team.
