SEND Provision

The SEND department coordinates targeted literacy and numeracy interventions, coordinates transition support for SEND students, uses Dyslexia Outreach with trained staff in Precision Spelling, provides eight-week catch-up provision, and has a dedicated SEND team led by the SENDCo with Learning Support Assistants to support learners.

Notre Dame Open Events and admissions information indicate applications should be submitted via the Local Authority and the school's Supplementary Information Form; Catholic applicants may submit Baptismal (or First Holy Communion) certificates; the school notes that it is heavily oversubscribed; in-year admissions go through the local authorities (NCC/SCC) and offers are processed accordingly. Sixth Form admissions have a December deadline with provisional offers later.
