SEND Provision

At Waltham Leas Primary Academy, we believe each child is unique with the potential to achieve and thrive. We recognise that some children may need additional support to reach their potential. We are proud to be an inclusive academy in which children of all abilities and from all cultures and backgrounds are valued equally. We are strongly committed to raising the aspirations of and the expectations for all pupils and we provide a focus on outcomes for children and not just provision/support. Each child has access to a broad and balanced curriculum that meets their needs and enables progress. The SENDCo can be contacted via the school office or directly by email. We aim to identify children with Special Educational Needs as early as possible, create an environment that allows every pupil to achieve and thrive, involve parents in regular reviews of progress, and address concerns through collaborative working with families and academy staff. The SEND Local Offer information is available via the North East Lincolnshire Council Local Offer site.
