The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding allocated to school designed to address inequalities and close the gap in attainment between the richest and the poorest in society, to help boost the achievements of disadvantaged youngsters. Since September 2012, schools have been required to publish how much pupil premium funding they receive, how it has been spent and how it has impacted the attainment of the pupils that attract the funding.
