Head Teacher's Message

Welcome from Miss Emma Butler. She emphasises Learn, Aspire, Exceed; a caring and ambitious community with high expectations, a broad and high-quality curriculum, and strong relationships with students, families and staff.

Curriculum Highlights

The Learn, Aspire, Exceed (LAE) curriculum extends Year 7/Year 8 beyond core subjects to develop knowledge and cultural capital. Young People’s Award as part of LAE for Year 7/Year 8. Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award offered (Bronze Year 9, Silver Year 10, Gold Year 12). CPR sessions by MAGPAS for Year 7/Year 8 on a rolling programme. Combined Cadet Force (CCF) with Kimbolton School, Navy section. Extensive after-school and enrichment opportunities including clubs, trips, sports fixtures and charity events. National Citizen Service (NCS) participation, available to Year 11 and Year 12, counting towards Gold Duke of Edinburgh.

SEND Provision

The four areas of Special Educational Needs: Literacy and Learning; Sensory and/or physical needs; Social, Emotional and Mental Health; Speech, Language and Social Communication.
