Admissions Criteria

Year 7 admissions are managed by Staffordshire County Council under local authority arrangements. The Hart School serves a catchment area including Little Haywood, Colton, Colwich, Handsacre, Armitage and Hill Ridware, with a planned admission number of 220. Admissions can be oversubscribed in some year groups; places are usually offered to students within the catchment area. Open mornings and evenings are held for prospective families; in-year admissions may be possible but are not guaranteed. Sixth Form admissions depend on references, an interview and meeting the school's admissions criteria; for Sixth Form information please contact the Head of Sixth Form.
