Ethos & Values

EXCELLENCE RESPONSIBILITY RESPECT COMMUNITY CREATIVITY

Eden Primary’s Jewish ethos embraces children from across the spectrum of Jewish belief and the wider community on an equal basis. Jewish, universal and British values are embedded in all that we do.

Head Teacher's Message

It is my great pleasure to introduce you to Eden Primary, a creative, innovative and forward-thinking Jewish school where everyone is welcome, firmly led by our vision and values.

Curriculum Highlights

The EYFS Framework is followed in Reception and the National Curriculum in English, Maths and Science. The Jewish Education curriculum has been developed by Eden Primary and is taught within interdisciplinary, integrated themes as well as through discrete subject-based learning. Outdoor education is pivotal in our curriculum, using the school site, Coldfall Woods and other outdoor environments. A Studio Teacher works in all classes to deepen learning through a rich variety of creative languages. Curriculum delivery emphasizes discourse, exploration, problem solving and openness to how children think; the curriculum prepares children to participate fully in Jewish life and to engage with the wider community, including SEND considerations.
