SEND Provision

The SEN Department identifies students with SEND and coordinates support, including resources, staffing and facilities. Interventions can include added literacy and numeracy support, mentoring, counselling, access arrangements and social/emotional intervention. Students on SEND will have lead TA meetings three times a year to update their pupil passport and to communicate with families.

Admissions Criteria

Hans Price Academy is a secondary academy without post-16 provision. Year 7 admissions are conducted in conjunction with the North Somerset Co-ordinated Admission Scheme for new intake secondary admissions. Induction Day is provided to new students. Applications can be online or on paper; refer to North Somerset Council for details.
