From September 2025, Trinity Academy Whitehill offers free wrap-around care for nursery children from 7:45am–4:30pm. Wrap-around care operates in three settings: Foundation Stage (Illingworth Children’s Centre), under eights (Breakfast and After School Club building), and over eights (Dining Hall). Breakfast Club runs mornings, with options at 7:00am–8:30am (£7.50) or 7:45am–8:30am (£4.00). After School Club runs 3:00pm–4:30pm (£7.00) or 3:00pm–6:00pm (£15.00) including a snack. A sample menu is provided. Staff DBS checked; staff trained in First Aid, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, child protection, and behaviour management.

SEND Provision

Evergreen is a specialist provision dedicated to meeting the needs of children that require extra support.

Admissions Criteria

Reception places deadline 15 January 2026; applications via Calderdale Primary Admissions portal. Limited vacancies in Years 1 and 4; feeder to Trinity Academy Halifax. In-Year Transfers handled via Calderdale; visits/tours available; Appeals process through Independent Appeals Clerk.
