SEND Provision

Ashperton Primary Academy is inclusive and offers the following range of provision to support children with SEND: high quality teaching with a whole-school approach, personalised learning, differentiated work with clear objectives, assessment for learning to inform next steps, small group or one-to-one support outside the classroom when needed, use of outside agencies and specialists, Teaching Assistants in every classroom, progress tracking and regular pupil progress meetings. Interventions cover English, Maths, Behaviour, Speech & Language, Motor Skills, Social/Emotional well-being and developing positive self-esteem.

Reception admissions: apply through Herefordshire Council via online portal (Synergy Admissions Application Portal) open 15 September 2025 to 15 January 2026; paper forms available from reception admissions officers. In Year Transfer: contact the school to check space and download the IYT form; for residents outside Herefordshire, apply through your home Local Authority.
