SEND Provision

Denbigh High School provides SEND support with EHCPs; as of 2024-2025 there are 48 students with an EHCP and the school plans to have 60 in 2025-2026. The SEND team delivers personalised support for identified needs, regular EHCP identification and reviews, and a multi‑agency approach to ensure appropriate interventions. Interventions include literacy and numeracy programmes such as Read Write Inc, Lexia, Reading Plus, and a range of wellbeing and social/communication supports; the Lodge provides emotional and behavioural support and there is access to external services (e.g., speech and language therapy, CAMHS, Educational Psychologist).
