Admissions Criteria

Hammersmith Academy admits students via a fair banding process. Year 7 entry is an annual intake of 140 students; applications are processed through the local authority’s eAdmissions system; there are two entry routes (Year 7 entry and Sixth Form entry) with in-year applications possible if space is available. Admittance priorities include Looked After or Previously Looked After Children, Children of Academy staff, distance from the Academy, and Siblings of current students; after EHCP considerations, tie-breakers are applied as outlined in the Admissions Policy 2026-2027.
