Miss Hannah Knowles, Principal, welcomes visitors to The Skinners’ Kent Academy and describes it as an all-ability 11-18 Academy within the Skinners’ Academies Trust, with an internationally-focussed curriculum, high standards, an inclusive environment, and a strong emphasis on enrichment and lifelong learning.

Admissions Criteria

Oversubscription criteria include: children in public care; compelling medical or other exceptional social reasons for attending; admission of students whose siblings currently attend The Skinners’ Kent Academy and will continue to do so on the date of admission; children on roll at Skinners’ Kent Primary School on 1 September of the academic year in which a secondary school application is made; children of staff employed by The Skinners’ Kent Academy; admission of students on the basis of proximity to the Academy using a straight-line measurement; in the event of a tie-break situation, distance will be used; if there are two or more applications of equal eligibility for the last remaining place, a random selection will be applied and independently verified.
