Admissions Criteria

We follow Calderdale MBC admissions criteria. Priority is given in the following order: 1) Looked After children or those previously looked after who ceased to be so because of adoption or subject to a specific order; 2) pupils who have a brother or sister permanently resident in the same household currently attending the school or its associated junior school (excluding final-year pupils with a Statement of SEN or Education, Health and Care Plan in a resourced unit); 3) other children. If there is oversubscription within any category, proximity to the school (straight-line distance from pupil's permanent home to the nearest designated gate) is used. Distances are calculated by the Local Authority GIS. Church membership/affiliation is not a factor.
