Maple Grove Primary School welcomes families with a warm, inviting message from the leadership: the school aims to shape the future by supporting and inspiring children to reach their full potential in a close-knit, nurturing environment. The school values diversity, promotes mutual respect, and fosters a love of learning through hands-on experiences, with a strong emphasis on partnership with parents and a dedicated staff and governors.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Wrap Around Care includes Sunrise Club (breakfast club) and Sunset Club (after-school care). Sunrise Club opens at 7:45 am; Sunrise sessions are £5 per session and include breakfast ( cereals, toast, fresh fruit, fruit juice ) and children join the playground from 8:40 am. Bookings can be made via the Arbor app. Age range for Sunrise Club is 3–11. Sunset Club runs until 6:00 pm; Sunset sessions are from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm, costing £5 per session, with an additional £2.50 for each 30-minute increment, up to a total of £15 by 6:00 pm. The Sunset club includes daily hot snacks and a range of activities. For pupils who receive Pupil Premium, extended care is offered at half price. Wrap-around services are open term-time only. Lunch Club (2–4 years) is 12:00–1:00 pm and costs £6.00. Nursery wrap-around is 8:30–11:30 am and 12:00–3:00 pm, £13.50. Nursery lunch can be provided from 12–1 pm. All wrap-around services are Ofsted registered.

Admissions Criteria

Maple Grove Primary School admits 30 pupils to Reception and Years 1–6. In-Year Admissions are managed by Hertfordshire County Council.
