St Mary Magdalene Academy is part of Hive Education Trust and sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools. It is a Christian community of learning which aims to nurture young people to become high achievers and to discover their vocation in a global society. We welcome pupils and students from all faiths and none to our schools, which strive to be inspirational communities of learning focused on happy, successful children. The school follows the London Diocesan Board for Schools’ (LDBS) curriculum units and model map for Religious Education, and these units have been slightly adapted to meet the context of our school and the needs of our children. These units enable all children to make progress in RE and become religiously literate, able to hold well-informed conversations about different religions and world views.
