Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to Wheelers Lane Primary School. The Head Teacher, Mrs E. Sumner, describes the school as a caring, open community and emphasizes the vision to be a “community of inspiration, aspiration and enrichment,” with a safe, stimulating environment where every child can reach their potential.

Admissions Criteria

Looked after or previously looked after children; Children with an older brother or sister who will be in attendance when the child starts; Children who live nearest the school (distance measured in a straight line); Nursery attendance does not automatically guarantee a Reception place; To apply for a place, use the Birmingham Local Authority Schools Application (prefs.php); In-year placements are handled by applying directly to the school with required documentation; If no places are available, applicants may be placed on a waiting list and contacted if a place becomes available.
