Yew Tree Community School is an inclusive and supportive school that strives to ensure that children with special educational needs make fantastic progress. The SENDCO is Miss Hannah Greenacre and the SEND link Governor is Mrs S. Gibson. The school has an inclusion space for pupils who cannot access mainstream education due to very complex needs. Lessons are adapted to meet the individual needs of pupils, professional advice is sought for pupils who need specialist equipment. The school provides disabled access and works closely with parents to ensure the best outcomes for all children. Federation SEND policies are available (MST Federation SEND Information Report; MST SEND Policy 2025).
