St Christopher's Catholic Primary School is a Catholic school. The Archdiocese of Liverpool judged the school outstanding in Catholic Life in 2019. The school was recognised as a School of Sanctuary in 2018.
Headteacher Mrs N. Harrop writes: “I am delighted to welcome you to St. Christopher's Catholic Primary School... St Christopher's is a school which values and cares for every member of its community and works hard to help them to become the best they can possibly be. We value all aspects of school life and support and challenge our children to develop as well-rounded, kind, caring and independent individuals. We want our children to love coming to school and to feel proud to be a part of the St. Christopher's family.” The page notes: in March 2022 Ofsted recognised the school as a ‘Good School’ in all areas; in June 2019 the Archdiocese of Liverpool judged the provision for Catholic Life as outstanding; in 2018 it was recognised as a School of Sanctuary; Gold Quality Marks for Reading and Maths; Silver School Games Award; Silver Primary Science Quality Mark; facilities include large classrooms, outdoor learning facilities, a Forest School Lead Teacher, a school library and a Dream Room (4D learning space).
