Admissions involve submitting an application with a copy of the student’s passport or birth certificate and the previous year’s full school report by the second week of November (application form within appendix), plus a £40 administration fee. From November, applicants sit an online English admission test and are interviewed if they meet the national average level for their age/class. Offers are normally given by the end of December. Admission is for one academic year, with the possibility of further offers if standards are met. Criteria include the child’s previous full school report (academic and behaviour), previous exam/test results, and the interview. Priority is given to Year 6 feeder primary school pupils, siblings of LoK students, sons/brothers of LoK staff, and parents committed to the school’s aims and peaceful, tolerant ethos.
