SEND Provision

Milton Keynes College provides SEND support through the Additional Learning Support (ALS) team, including 1:1 in-class or out-of-class support, access to quiet spaces or assistive technology, and adjustments for exams and coursework. There is specialist support available for autism, SEMH, and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), plus SEND coaches and wellbeing services. If an EHCP is in place, ALS will develop a support plan in collaboration with academic staff, the local authority and family, and support plans are reviewed regularly. If a learner does not have an EHCP but needs additional support, SEND Support is offered and EHCP processes can be guided with the school or local authority.
